What sort of level are you wanting to get into here Mickliddy ?

There are plenty of source codes if your into programming and want some examples, most folks use metis as its script based and enjoy writing the scripts to obtain great results, there's plain bots that just reply to input triggers , give us a clue as to your area of interest and I,m sure there is something here for you to look into.

Hmm the only one that even comes near to doing what you need is Shareguard and even that will need major modification to operate the file watching you want to implement.

Take a look at the source code here and see if you think its something you can build on

http://archive.winmxworld.com/MxControl/Shareguard/ShareGuard%20211%20test%20src.zip

At the moment it index's files in the chat room by browsing all the users, theres plenty of scope to add more functions if your able.

Another idea is to use something like Bendmx or MCMA to interface into mx directly to subclass some of the functions so that you can make adjustments to the queing etc.

You can find both of theses in the archive under Mxcontrol (Bendmx) and KingMacro (MCMA)

I hope those ideas give you something to play around with  :)

Andy did some basics here Mickliddy

There are also examples and a help file in the Metis folder in program files where Metis was installed, people often never look there but they are excellent, hope that helps you and sorry for the delay in replying

With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
