Well to answer your question Nes, its a area of the forum for talk ablout WinMx related programming , events or whatever, as long as it revolves around WinMx.
There are other forums covering non WinMx related stuff, so I hope folks bear this in mind before posting stuff about what they ate for lunch

Ok, some things for our think tank to work on:

1) How do we stop the current issue of flooders on WinMX?

2) Can we develop some sort of detection method for clearly identifying real and fake files?

3) Can we find out how to turn lead into gold?

4) Who farted?

5) How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

6) Should we invent a word to rhyme with orange?

How can we illeagalize the number 7?

9) Will KM ever return my inflatable midget?

10) Is this enough to work on for now?

That is plenty to start with, dont even want to know about the midget.. although it did seem to make KM sad you want it back :shock:
I am glad i dont know who farted, i cant lick a tootsie pop.. i am a nibbler...
my idea of that word is smorange.. thinking of a meaning...
7 is ok with me but would be better as 7+lots of 0s...
lead and gold.. at one time lead was worth more i think...(proves how old i might be..

So, the best questions are the stopping of the flooders on WinMX and identifying the files as fake. My area of interest..

My thoughts at this point in my day...

Our best weapon is information at this time. This means watching them like a hawk as they are changing and adding to what lengths they will go to in order to drive away our best commodity.. our newbies..the future of WinMX. To me this means alot of busy work.. but more importantly it means the community of WinMX needs to unite and put aside differences in order to make this not only a p2p network but a network of shared knowledge and information.

I think its great we are getting a few more views on this issue and please bear in mind folks your ideas will be made into a permanant tutorial when enough
of them have been gathered, make a difference, put in your knowledge and hit back at the flooders
