I am trying to set up a static ip for my router, but I can't find out how to do it, because the tutorial WinMX has is different than mine, and I can find run on my start menu. I need a little help, please. MusicLady.

hi there,

i m looking at windows seven here so it might not all look the same .. i think you best try clicking start and there use the search option ..type cmd.exe (wich is the program's name)

1. Right Click on the Start Button.
2. Select Properties
3. Select Customize.
4. On the Customize Start Menu screen tick the Run command option.

Now you should find the Run menu option exactly where it used to be with XP

You can also hold down the windows key and the R key together to call up the run command if needed.
