Hi Realjack,

Do you have a router or possibly a modem that also has NAT capabilties..visit this site here   scroll down and see if your model is there, if you find it then click on it, scroll down to WinMX and then follow those instructions.

You may also want to try the new WinMX Group beta patch 3.1 which will forward ports for you in many cases, info located here:,2932.0.html

Do let me know about how you get along with these..

I have tried everything I can think of to set my system so that people wishing to share my files can do so. But, it seems that nearly every time someone tries to upload one of my files it times out before the uploading ever begins. Can anyone help me so I can share my files? I want to share the files but there is something wrong with my system or the way I have it set. I have 3000 files to share and always people are trying to load them, but never with any success. Help! Realjack
