Title: PeerGaurdian
Post by: WhiteLightningX on June 11, 2015, 01:55:41 am
Hey it's been a while..  :)

I fired up winmx tonight with peergaurdian and its list located at http://www.winmxgroup.com/PrimaryThreats.p2p and have noticed that its down or is nonexistent. Which really sucks because I dropped my external hard drive...(so much for putting all my eggs in one DUMPSTER sized basket...)

Every time I search I get the usual eastern character set and a bunch of unrelated crap now.

Any thoughts?  :D

the winmxgroup list did not have an impact on the attacks on the network
the winmxgroup list was put together to stop your winmx client from sending traffic to business/government ip addresses when it received various requests with spoofed ip addresses.

the actual list is available somewhere, i'll see if i can find where when i get home.

Oh lol, okay my memory is coming back to me now... I remember reading that.

I have the list on another machine, was it ever updated? cause if not, I'll just pull it from there  :)

no, it was a list of government and commercial websites, from what i was told they were pretty static
