Title: Malicious Ads on Telstra News Site
Post by: silicon_toad2000 on August 26, 2015, 09:12:24 pm
Attackers managed to plant malware in advertisements that appeared on
the news site of Australian telecommunications company Telstra. The
malware aims to redirect users to malicious sites hosting an exploit
that attempts to infect users' computers with the Tinba banking Trojan.
Telstra itself was not compromised; instead, the attackers made their
way onto the site through advertising networks.
