If you're using the dll patch PG2 would not be needed for the sake of winmx.  However, if you use any other file sharing programs I'd recommend it, & the adware & spyware lists have their virtues even if you ran NO p2p applications...

Running WinMx v 3.53 + patch/Primary/Sygate firewall/Peerguardian 2/Win98SE.

If I patched, do I still need to use Peerguardian 2 :?:
