i have color in all my usergroup names and its never stopped me from using the commands and all my other admin are able to use them also its just this one name that cant use them so color codes arent the problem here
When creating usergroups in the Metis bot, you must make sure that there are no < > * $ and color codes in the names. These codes will make the bot ignore the name in the usergroup. Just simply add part of the name that doesnt have these symbols and you should be alright.
Hi Sweetpea, it could be a matter of a colour code in the name like #c15# something like that, some people change colours in names more often than we change our mind, if your stuck, private message me the name and i will look at it and see if i can spot the problem, in confidence of course.
Metis does have a few problems recognising certain characters in names such as..... $ * < > i cant remember what else off hand but there are a coupla more i'm sure. so if the names in your usergroups contain these thats why yer bot isnt responding to those users.
i have user groups in my bot and i just added a name to it and its not reading the name all the other names are able to access this command but the new name metis is really confusing as it is if anyone might can help please do so
