hose 13 people tried WinMx and only 3 are using it now and the replies i got was not enough files.
People are now sharing more files now than before.
I remember when I first came here, a search on "winston Churchill" would yeild if you were lucky perhaps 50 results.
The last time I searched again, I was suprised to get in excess of 250 results. (must have been connected to a lucky primary
) I adimt that I was never was lucky like that again. But it does show that there are more people now.
I believe opennap was shut at that time too (shut = I wasn't connected to any servers)
Search results can vary depending on the primary you are connected to...
Varying search terms and all also affects things.
There are very few things that I don't find on winmx. And most of what can't be found haven't been found by me anywhere else either.
typicially, a few refreshes and a few more attempts have allowed me to get even the most hard to find file. And with opennap, I have always without exception managed to get hits for everything I wanted.
point is: be a little patient and you can then see the fruit. I don't think that those other 10 did try more than even once for the file they wanted. Popular songs and videos are easy to find and most of the time, fast as well.
