Mabye reading through the manual or something might reveal some unknown settings or something that causes problems...

Does this problems occur when you are downloading uploading or just palin leaving winmx on?

Cheers :P

The problem, unfortunately, is back. I guess no one here has had it?

I seem to have fixed the problem by formatting the drive and reinstalling Windows. (I was having some other problems with updates failing and constant Windows File Protection pop-ups.) :: shrug ::

Hi folks,

I've been experiencing random blue screens of death with WinMX (yes, I've narrowed it down to that) and my D-Link wireless card for the last few weeks. This is since I switched to DSL from cable, but I've made no other changes to my system. I've looked up the error on the 'net and tried every solution suggested, but no luck. WinMX tends to slow 'way down and really bog just before it happens, but I can't tie it to anything else.

I know this is an issue with my D-Link card but was wondering if anyone here had also encountered it, and what they did to fix it. I'd buy another card but would like to know before I spend the $$ if it will fix the problem.
