yes i have it set to hide and i ll check after this post but i m sure you know best, i must have just never noticed the envelope before and i must admit i don t know how SMF works never tried or used

only thing left would be the jumpy messages (where you create them) i described in my first post ..but like i said i can work around that if i remember to do that all the time

so that s not a real problem

If you have ticked the box "hide my email" in your profile it's only visible to yourself and the admins.

Just logout and check your posts, the email icon should be missing then completely.

just around and about 40 mails LMAO , thanks i got them ..no need checking them anymore though

my second thingy was my visible email addy, am i the only one being able to read the addy on mouseover and at the adress line in outlook if clicked?? if not.. i m trying to hide it and can t ,..and.. should n 't it be send by the board?

ok - seems the virus definitions were outdated and postfix refused to deliver any mails

gotta check into why the virus stuff wasn't updated automatically but it's fixed for now....

hi ,

since around and about this week i got some email troubles:

i recieve no or very few notification mail where i m sure i should have
and also my email addy is visible when i m sure it s set to "hide"

i hope someone can clear this up for me

to also add something completely different .. when writing a long message the message window is getting quite annoying and jumpy at the bottom of the message, hard to see what you ve typed because it tends to jump back up all the tiime, i now have to remind myself all the time to use notepad and paste and copy the message in (something i often forget ..just like checking if the message needs modifying before posting)
