Try Something like this in the "File Format " tab

%2\ - %1\ -%7 - %4

I havent used the program on this particular machine but I think the idea is that the the fields are the numbered elements and you simply swap the position of the ones you wish to see into the right place and pop the seperators or underscores as you wish in the mixture, there used to be a help button in the program itself to assist you with this , let me know if you get stuck and I'll install it and take a peek myself.

been using cdex and like it very much, however  I have a problem, I want to get the output files all into a single folder of my choosing and have the .mp3's named by songtitle_artitst_album.mp3 but can't seem to get there (dashes instead of underscores is ok)

for example when using C:\Users\someDir\someDir\%4%1%2 a sample file name I get is: f-Dannii Minogue- Push-123New ArtistNew Title.mp3, for this example I would like to get:
Push-Dannii Minogue-neon nights.mp3
