what is up with the people that have files to share,but sit there with 15 in que and 0 of 0  available ? almost as bad as having fake files

It is worse.  The 0-slot hack of winMX is a leech tool.  It is not used by people who share files but by people who sell files, who demand some form of barter 'payment' in return for a 'trade'.

I have such a leech regularly trying to download from me, but he can't get past LeecHammer as that is the only program I know that can filter out those who use the 0-slot hack.  He was downloading from others, but had 0 uploads going, and 87 waiting in his queue.  And he had the audacity to use the nick "Share_or_Leave" !!!!!

Yes its true to date only Leechammer has the ability to detect and ignore users using the 0 of 0 hack..

probably hope you'll see the name and make the assumption that they aren't leeches, so not bother checking... those bar Stewards

oops! looks like leechammer site is down and so is winmx help guide form vallde[sic] . so,any ideas where i can find leechammer ? thanks for all your help out there

MxMonitor/settings tab/whois tab, check  "Ignore and clear by transfer status". Set Min UL to one to ensure the people in your queue are uploading at least one file themselves. 8)
