I am running Windows XP with Direcway Satellite Speed is 54.0 Mbps on linksys wireless. If I hardwire ican get 100.0Mbps. I just recently upgraded to the beta 4 so far im loving it.  My question is can to tell me the best way to configure my winmx for optimal performance on what I am running. I also downloaded Sherwood.

 Thank You

definately secondary on a satelite connection due to the extreme lag on the connection, as for the connection speed - you are seeing the speed of the connection from your computer to the router if you are just looking at the speed windows reports :-P

that bandwidth page will test how fast your upload bandwidth is and suggest the correct setting for the bandwidth throttles, although to be honest it hasn't been tested on a connection that laggy, in fact the laggiest connection it's been tested on was dialup :-S
