my computer crashed last month and I had to install winmx again, I can download but no one can upload from me, it times out each time. I have winmx boxes checked on my windows firewall, can anyone please help? I'm not using a router or wireless,

one more thing I can upload if I do it secondary, but want to have a primary connection, I had a primary connection for years so I know it can be done on this computer but what is stopping it now?

when you re-installed winmx, did you delete and start over with your firewall connections?

have you changed port settings?

if your computer crashed you probably not only installed winmx but also your operating system and lost your static IP settings you had set before crashing so your router is now maybe configured to the wrong internal IP

I too have the same sort of problem i have a t &t u verse and had my modem changed since then i can not get a primary connection.

I have a 2 wire gateway modem running windows 7 i have changed the firewall on both my modem and my windows 7

any suggestions?
