Search Issues

I recently reinstalled WinMX with the patch, can connect but when I do a search I'm getting no results
even for common search like The Beatles. Nothing seems to ever show up.
My connection is thru Cricket . Is there some thing I haven't done yet  to get any search results????
I haven't changed any settings.
