if you are using the standard XP firewall, get sygate or a similar firewall and turn the Xp firewall off as this is a known issue, zone alarm firewall will stop you if you are trying to host, or rather stop people entering your room, this is another known issue. you could even try changing the prorts from 6699 to something elase as some ISP's block these to stop file sharing.

Actually either are only sometimes issues, if there's one thing I hate it's blanket claims..

I've done both things at various times SUCESSSFULLY so I know wherof I speak. wouldn't have taken issue if you'd said....
