Has anyone else run into bozos who message you : "I see you're in my que. If you want to download from me, you must join my group."?

What's with that?

I,m not sure please PM us the name of the files you where searching for so we can find out from them what this is about as I,m sure they will not want 1000's of users blocking them in a similar fashion, what goes around comes around I think.

I'm a member of a group but I'm pretty sure we don't have anyone that extreme.
A number of people can set winmx to zero uploads so that anyone wanting a file must be started manually. I feel this is detrimental to the community and tell these people just that.
Their justification is that it stops leeches, sure but at what cost?
I think if you get one of these messages, if you can find the chatroom containing this group and make the admins of the group aware of the behaviour, they will take steps to stamp it out.
