when they say '3d' do they mean 3d as in all the games made since 'sprites' went the way of the dodo? or the kind that need 3d glasses?

Oops, thanks stripes, i had my tags around the wrong way.

I would suggest both. But i've only just upgraded to a lcd so i wouldnt know much about the 3d glasses

ironically CRTs are better for 3d glasses than lcds (esp the 'shutter glass' type) due to their faster response rate... ...one of the best examples of 'lcd lag' that can actually cause problems is playing the classic 'duck hunt' game on an LCD tv...
