The Pirate Bay is not happy with a recent article published by the RIAA, where the torrent site is portrayed as the prime example of why tougher anti-piracy laws are necessary. In a rebuttal, The Pirate Bay argues that the RIAA is delusional, behaving like a spoiled kid that has lost touch with reality.

The RIAA has responded to The Pirate Bay’s decision to change its domain name from .org to .se. The torrent site made the switch to prevent a seizure by US authorities, and according to the music industry group this is a clear indication that tougher laws are needed to deal with “rogue websites.”

Jeez, if they were in a leaky boat, they'd want to pass legislation to stop the water coming in rather than just fix the hole that is an obsolete business model.

the wpn has mostly fallen off the radar of the RIAA/MPAA .... the US DoD on the other paw.... thats a different story..

Are the DoD IP ranges in the WinMx block list? Also who has the best block list for known addresses  of 3 letter abriviated agencies?

I already have peer block installed. I meant where can I get a good block list for peer block for those 3 letter agency's that protecting our countries from terrorist and such. I don't want my machines to be part in a DDoS attack due to the current exploit in WinMx. I'm currently using bluetacks and the WinMxworld community list with Peerblock. Anyone recommend something else?

The patch blocks in/out UDP packets and incoming TCP packets.

outgoing TCP too? .... actually a better question might be 'can it handle a 16mb blocklist?' ...

Hmm.. Well I will just see what else I can find as far as block list go on the net.
