"Dead" results

Every time I connect to WinMX (Ever since I returned to it back in 2011), I have had a solid connection, but there was the issue, with search/chat bugs like garbled results and fake files, and such...  After Jan. 2012, I kinda left and started to use SoulSeek.

But ever since I started to get on MX again since this past September, the program went completely dead for me...  No matter what I do, when searching, no results appear at all, and when going into chat, no chat rooms appear, regardless of how much time I give it.  Perfect connection, but no sign of life or activity anywhere now...  Did something happen over the past 9 months or so?

I'm on Windows 7 with nothing that blocks WinMX.

winmx is under attack by disgruntled ex users.... there are two types of attack... one that wont show any files or very little and one that shows too many files that have nothing to do with your search....

the chatlist will hardly ever show since they never stop attacking that but there are about 300 rooms around.... go to the winmxworld help room shown at the top and theres a bot in there that lists the rooms...
