Hoping to revolutionize live broadcasting on the Internet, Bram Cohen has filed a patent application for the new BitTorrent Live streaming protocol. It wont ever be as ground-breaking or efficient as the bit torrent protocol but simply because hes taken so long to optimise it doubtless it will prove useful in marrying the bit torrent architecture to a streaming protocol and coming up with some half way method that delivers efficiency over what we have already but as for "revolutionary" I cant say that's a true reflection of this particular protocol.
