Can't reconnect to ISP after installing patch

After downloading and installing the patch, WinMX worked fine. However, after closing WinMX I was unable to reconnect to my Roadrunner ISPN. Had to revert my hard drive to a time prier to installing the patch. It was then fine but now I don't have WinMX. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Jeep,

Installing the patch itself shouldnt have interfered with that process of connection to your ISP,  this is a new one on me tho.. so makes sense to get a bit more info from you as its probably a coincedence about the installation and the ISP connection.

What other patches did or have you used?
Did you make a clean install of WinMX or where you told to delete any files prior to installing the Patch from www.WinmxGroup.com?
What operating system do you use?

What antivirus have you run?

Thanks for the reply. I'm using WinMX Pro and Mcafee Anti-virus. No other patches were run and I didn't delete or uninstall anything prior to running the downloaded patch from this site. I used Roxio GoBack to restore my hard drive to a state prior to running the patch and now have no problems connecting to my home page however, I don't have WinMX.

Okay Jeep,

I suggest you try to redownload the Install 1.9 and reinstall it unless you already have it downloaded and saved still...

Try to reinstall WinMX and let me know what you come up with.. I will check back here shortly..

Uninstalled WinMX and reinstall. Than ran patch. That seems to have worked. Looks like everythings running fine. Thanks for your time and the help.
