I can't connect with windows 8

I have tried everything even took down firewalls tried first and secondary connections, I am using 3,53. I was told winmx different for windows 8,but cant seem to get in room from old puter for winmx help.plzzzzzzzz help frustrated!! have alot to share that i transferred to new puter~

Hi Steviewuv, can you confirm you obtained your copy of WinMX from the following site please ?

 https://patch.winmxconex.com/ 

If you didnt can you grab a copy of the "Full Setup Files: (WinMX + Community Patch 1.0)" and install that, I would advise you remove any existing WinMX folder and contents prior to install.

If you did grab the files from that site can you confirm you went through the setup and set the ports to the default or did you put another port number in ?

Can you let us know if your settings where to use primary or secondary  ?
