Twitter has notified some users that their accounts may have been
compromised as part of a state-sponsored attack. The message went out
to more than 20 Twitter users, warning that "a small group of accounts
... may have been targeted by state-sponsored actors ... [who] may have
been trying to obtain information such as email addresses, IP addresses,
and/or phone numbers." Many of those receiving the warning appear to
have ties to IT security.
