What network connection type are you using, what type of internet connection do you have from your ISP , whats the model of the router or modem your using, and have any transfers worked for you ?
I normally suggest a visit to one of the chat rooms so someone can do a test transfer (up and down) between the two of you as this will often deliver further helpful data, I have plenty more questions to ask but i feel its only fair I let you answer some so we can narrow our focus towards a solution to the problem using genuine facts
