I use neither, and both..

I write my own hosts list.

I liked the format of the original KM hosts file, of using multiple hosts per IP, but it had several typos.  So I first fixed the typos, then once I understood the use of hostnames for world zones and for 9 or 10 caches for each zone and version group, I arranged it into an easily updatable format.

Then I studied which servers were being used in the pie hosts list and which were listed on the winmxgroup and combined them for a more complete list of all known wpn cache servers.

works great on xp or 98.

After I posted my hosts list format to the vladd site a couple times, I note that they started incorporating a similar but not so optimal format in pie patch v2.9, maybe earlier..

Sorry km, i think it might just have been my vote that prevented a land slide victory, however, i still have one of your .dll on one of my company machines, so i guess technically, i cancel myself out  :D

Funny though, that very machine often makes a funny whirring noise and on several occasions green smoke has been spotted leaking out the back, any reason for this?        :lol:  Not too sure if its your .dll or just simply the fact im responsible for keeping the pc's here running right.   :twisted:

still working 354 betta 4 with the new patch.no problems with this station  sure happy i changed my isp uploads and downloads  60 ks second  zip zip .   still others isp,s cutting them all some do is reconnect if you would change your isp nothing wrong with winmx it is working perfect .Gus
