Need a little help

Having a problem finding searches and sharing files. Have version 3.54beta 4 and installed the updated patch. Cannot find any of my searches and anyone who tries to upload is timed out and kicked off. Any help anyone could offer would be hot, thanks.

sounds like its a port problem which can be a router, dsl modem or firewall.  All of which we have tutorials for here:

Norton 2005 Antivirus Allowing MX

When all of these are done then your primary should work fine, allowing you to search, and upload no problem.

You can also set your Winmx to use secondary and it should work ok now also.
