MX Monitor Needs some function for Download Management
« on: January 15, 2006, 12:33:04 am »
Could any one inform the MX monitor team or creator that download management is also important!
To be a all-rounded program tool, downloading management is very important, too!
For example, my downloading files are stuck with many queues(very often more than 5) with high queuing numbers.  I often don't monitor WinMX while it's working overnight.  These queues could hang there for very long time and no advancement indeed.  The result is that WinMX would not auto-search with more than 5 in queue.
I hope that MX monitor can look into this aspect and add some function which could, say, allow user to defined a number for autoclearing download queues so that any queue with its queuing number greater than the user defined number would be automatically clear out.
P.S., the WinMX's auto-enter-queue doesn't work well and that's why MX noitor should fill in and intervene.

Any one knows who developed MX monitor?  Can the developer release the source?

No there's no similar upload monitors still in development.

You can  try Leechammer, but it also only monitors uploads like MXMonitor.
LeecHammer 1.2 (For WinMX 3.53) - 120704.zip

You might also want to investigate MXLinx (in the archive I don't know if it's still under development or where the homepage might be found)

I havn't looked at it myself to see if it would address your particular issue, I just note that "Queue Management" is among it's functions.

Thanks.
I tried MXLinx.  It doesn't have download management.
