I  followed the direction on how to set the ports for ( TCP,UDP) but it still didnt work im try to host a chat room im using WinMX v3.54  4 my operating system is XP SP2

Hey DBZ,

So you went into WinMX settings > internet connections > Incoming TCP and changed it to a number of your choice.. then did the same thing for the IN/OUT UDP and set that to a different number of your choice but still cant get a primary connection?

This sounds like a Router or Firewall issue.. so its a good idea to configure an exception in your XP SP2 Firewall.. go here

How configure your XP SP2 Firewall

If your on a router get the make and model and head over to portforward to set it to allow WinMX through..go here

PortForward

If you still cant get a primary or your problem is something else lets us know and we'll do our best to get you sorted out ..
