Hey I don't know what this is and hope maybe someone might have already run across this:

I noticed on pg2 that my machine was sending packets of type 'unknown' (not tcp or udp) to IP 224.0.0.10 But do not see any foreign processes running... I added the IP to PG2's blocklist and it didn't appear to disturb WinMX at all... So any idea what that is? Could it be a rootkit or some slick tool made by the flooders?

Anyone who could help please do!

According to this Scyre, its an internal IP

Perhaps its a check for update signal, but if your not sure keep it locked up.

That's all I could find too...Funny though that my ISP just got some new internet traffic equipment, and had bell south come and reprogram the routing tables for them... I bet it is connected.

I will keep it sealed for now til I find out.
