CPU usage
« on: February 24, 2006, 02:04:23 am »
What does CPU means and how would I find out the % used.
What can one expect to see when opening 'bandwidth' if there are no down- or uploads.
I have about 14.000 bytes/sec only with 'find sources' activated in a onge colour, before it was blue.
How many bytes are 1MB or 1GB?

Many thanks in advance

CPU = Central Processing Unit

To find out usage, start task manager, there's a graph showing total usage, the processes tab shows in realtime what each process is using.

I'll admit I'm unfamilliar with the bandwdith graphs in WinMX & what the colours mean.. I've rarely even glanced in years of running the program  :oops:

1 MB would be 1,048,576 bytes 1 GB would be 1024 times that...
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed.
