Excessive GDI Object count with MXM
« on: March 09, 2006, 02:11:20 am »
I'm at a loss on this one.
If I have Winmx (3.54beta) and MXmoni 1.28 running after less than 24 hours now, I'm showing GDI Objects for Winmx at 9,999 and of course the winmx screen is haywire.

This has just started within the last few days.
I've downloaded new winmx and new moni and installed them.  Gone back a step in Nvida drivers  and then downloaded the latest (just a few weeks old),  turned off themes in compatibility tab. Reset windows on Winmix all with no success.

System is XP Pro with all updates with gig of RAM and a Geoforece 6200 with 500 meg of RAM on it.

I've seen this happen when I was using Leechammer a few years ago but winmx/mxm have played very well togather until now.

I don't know if it's moni or winmx causing the problem, but it doesn't occur unless moni is running.

Anybody got any suggestions please?

Thanks

Dan

What exactly are GDI objects?
Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)
