Hi

I reformatted and changed from Win98 to XP, I have started copying movies back in to share folder, so far 15, but only six show as shared, solution anyone?  :?

The six shared show bytes, duration etc but the others dont :?

Hi BlackAdder,
Which version of WinMx are you using and what file types are these?
I have seen some avi files that have either a damaged header or just dont have the information to potray..

So they dont often show up that information but they do share..

I would also like to add that if you had lets say nero or winamp installed on your old windows and have not yet installed it on your new pc this could also cause this type of problem as the file will be associated with nero or winamp.
One way i have found around this is to name the files with a    .avi    or    .mpg
like this

(Movie)Happy days         becomes       (Movie)Happy days.avi        and so on

I hope this helps you out a little more?
