how to aviod queing

ever since winmx has changed it has been very diffocult to download anything without being qued. Ive shared the files i have to share and this has not helped why is it like this? winmx was better before it changed.

Hi Norman888, one of the reasons folks are having to que is that the size of the userbase has shrunk and obviously with less sources some queing will occur.
Winmx has about one third of its pre crash users, but it is growing back slowly with more rejoining each month, as folks find its still here.
The other reason is of course some of the files are not actually there and you can join fake ques, remeber to use the -user filter in the search box and you should avoid many of the pitfalls.

Notice the parts about 'takers' and 'leavers'.  That will explain a little why it is the way it is I think.  The effects of the 'takers' attack on winmx net are still with us, as Ghostship explained.  But the power to rebound is in our hands.. if we the users look at ourselves and how we act in our community, as to whether WE are takers or leavers [and opt to become the latter], we can make our world a better place.
