how do i change names for pics vids

hi  since redoing winmx  i can t change names of pics   vids  or it says  won t be able to read  some setting ?  thx  julie.  some names are so wrong

Can you change them via explorer?
I mean going to the folder where the file is and then changing the name?
Does any error come up then?
