upload and dowwnload probs

I just upgraded my service to high speed wireless, and i am having problems.  If I try making a primary connection, when I do a search I get no results. When I'm on a secondary connection I can search But uploads/downloads timeout right away.  It worked fine when I connected with dial up, but now I get nowhere.   Any help would be greatly appreciated

This sounds like ISP inteference .....
Your ISP is blocking winmx from connecting.

Normally these days the high speed connection often give you modems that have NAT built in.. so they work like a router.  Get the name of your modem and the model of it and visit this page:

http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

Find the correct one, click it.. peel down the list for WInMX click it.. follow those instructions to open ports for your WinMX to use.  Then retry mx.
