Hi, Myself and lots of others I am sure have troubles when suers are trying to upload.  People message me asking them to be started but whatever i do my end doesnt help them, they just end up going yellow then red saying TIMED OUT. I am sure people think I am stopping them getting my files but I am trying so hard to get them started with the upload.  Any advice??? :o

Sorry forget to mention using Win XP, Winmx version 3.54 with correct patch on primary connection.

Right now your set up as primary so its more then likely settings on thier end.  Let me ask ya a few ?s..

Do any uploads work?
Do you still have S=number?
Is this a new problem like last few days?
Who is your ISP?

None of my uploads work now been a problem even when on secondary but they used to work. stopped working about last 7-10 days, been on primary for 3 days now and just the same.
S = 0 ??
ISP is Telewest Broadband (Blueyonder).

That means that your TCP amd UDP ports are not forwarded properly. Go to www.portforward.com to find out how to forward ports on your router/modem. there are a list of models there. Select yours and read the tutorial.
Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)

the fact they stopped working suggests something has changed in your setup, chances are it's your internal ip, so pay particular attention at portforward.com to any instructions regarding setting a static ip address
