problemsng probles patching my bot...its MXControl 1.34 and each time i try and patch it it wont connect still...any ideas as to why and how i could fix this?   also, can you download a plug-in for 2.06 robo that allows you to use mxcontrol bot add-on??

Porting 2.06 RoboMx has been looked at to use the MxControl (MXControl.rEx) file for bot function but its not been completed.. Ghost knows more then myself maybe he can enlighten as to why its not ever been done before.

The other way around actually - Metis bot is a plugin for RoboMx Chat client

Metis.r2x - Is the plugin that makes RoboMX Chat Client a Metis 2.7 bot.

Metis.rEx - As is this plugin the one that makes earlier RoboMX Chat Client a 2.6 Metis bot

MXControl.rEx - The plugin that makes RoboMX Chat Client a MXControl Simple Bot.

They are plugins and they are robomx version specific in most cases, if you remove them you have... welll a chat client..

same as any of the other files marked r2x (standing for Robomx 2 Extension), all plugins to the Robomx 2.X series.

I hope that settles the matter, the older Robo plugin files where called rex files and those where obviously for the very early RoboMX's, perhaps any bored C++ coders could get making some new ones for us all

Accuracy is important to us here, your not the only scripter who thinks the whole MxControl project is based on Metis, it most certainly is not.

I have been using mxcontrol for some time now. When the wpn network went down i waited for the patch and it worked great.....

Untill today when i found that my working bot will not connect anymore. Any help on this matter will be much appreciated.

Hmm I seemed to have missed this post before 

I hope by now your bot is connecting ok, there are times when a cache is down for a short while, hopefully you just picked a bad time, please post again if your still having trouble and i,ll get the problem solved for you Mashed
