finding hard to get songs

do you think it would be possible to have a section where people could post requests for help in finding obscure and hard to find  songs/artists. Quite often i run a search for a particular artist and come up with zero results, but i am sure that someone out there must have something by them and it would be nice to have some way of getting in touch to share these songs.
Would there be any security risk involved in such a project

The problem with this Bluegodz, is that what many people are wishing to locate could be copyright material and we here at winmxworld are commited to preserving the community aspect and sharing of as much open src, copyright expired, and generally free to share items along with peoples own materials, we have no wish to be seen to encourage copyright infringement as that could be used as an excuse by some commercial interests to close this site by semi legal methods.

I am sure a site could be set up to help users exchange content information but as this site is primarily a technical help site I dont feel we should take the risk of closure to help someone find a few mp3 that may turn out to be subject to copyright and we most certainly could not police such a section if it was here.

Sorry for the bad news but we hope you respect our honesty in trying to steer the legal minefield that p2p has become.
