MxM not trading
« on: June 09, 2007, 07:21:52 pm »
Searched, but didn't see any similar problem.

I have no problems uploading or downloading (aside from yesterday's glitch) - that's not an issue.

My problem is that I'm in someone's queue, he/she is (and has been for a while) downloading merrily from me.  Meanwhile I am still way back in his/her queue with no action.  Similarly, I have received messages from those who are downloading from me, asking if I can start them (by usernames it appears they are using MxM) which I am happy to do.

Any reason why MxM won't trade for me either way?

v3.54, Win XP, Verizon...never any issues UL or DL.

Auto UL for trade - check
while DL and RQ - check
unlimited one for one - check.

I allow 5 ULs, 2 simultaneous per person, and I don't ignore based on number of UL requests (if that helps).

Thanks in advance - WinMX has come a long way in the past few years!  Keep up the great work.

Hi Warlock,

Im not really the best person to help with this as Ive never used MXMoni for trading.. but a side note about the ones your uploading to and not starting.. some users dont have MXM set up to trade but have it in the names to indicate they ignore leeches.. so some of those may not auto start.. althogh some should.

It sounds like your MXM is set correctly, I do have a guide written by a user about trading and it may have some help.  Its located here:
https://www.winmxworld.com/help/bubba_index.html

If not then post back and I'll do some further looking into this if no one else has any advice..

Thanks, Me.  Of course, I misspoke by saying "trade" when I meant "auto-UL," but you know what I mean.  I read Bubba's guide previously, and re-read it again now to ensure I didn't screw up.  Just one of those things, I guess.

Look in WinMX settings under "file Transfers" > "Queuing"
Max total uploads =
has to be a *lower* number than the setting
Limit to the num of simultaneously uploading =
on the MxM AutoUL tab in order for this feature to work
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed.
