Downloading PC Games
« on: September 27, 2005, 01:39:44 am »
I downloaded a PC game for the first time.  Sims2, it was 4 parts.  It is an .iso file, and a "nocd fix" zip file.  Now that I have downloaded the game, what do I do next?  When I clicked on the first CD part, it asks me if I want to burn it to a disk.
Thanks

It's in 4 parts because The Sims 2 is a 4 disc game, burn to CD or mount.

Steve, I may be wrong but if jimmys.girl does not know what to do with an ISO then your advice is probably just a little bit brief to be really helpful.

I have not played with ISOs and so can not, with confidence, offer any direct help. But I would suggest Googling "Burning Iso" or similar, there will be plenty of games based sites with the information needed. Just a matter of finding one that does not assume you are a registered Geek.

Install a  virtual CD/DVD drive ( i use Alcohol 120% ) and "mount" the first ISO. Use as normal. When asked for CD 2 - just switch ISOs. Etcetera.
