UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD OR SEARCH FILES

I HAVE A PROBLEM. I HAVE WINDOWS XP AND WESTELL DSL MODEM. I'VE ALREADY WENT TO PORTFORWARD.COM TO FORWARD INFO ON MY ROUTER, CONFIGURED XP FIREWALL AND ALLOWING IT TO ACCEPT WINMX, AND I EVEN SET NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2006 UP TO ACCEPT THE WINMX ALSO IN THE INTERNET WORM PROTECTION SETTING. ORIGINALLY I USED SECONDARY CONNECTION WITHOUT A SINGLE PROBLEM. NOW I'M USING PRIMARY CONNECTION NOW. UPLOADS ARE OK - NO PROBLEM. BUT I'M UNABLE TO SEARCH FOR FILES OR DOWNLOAD. IS THERE A PROBLEM? COULD IT BE THE PORTS THAT I SET? COULD IT BE THE CONNECTION? HELP A BROTHER OUT PLEASE

TCP: CHANGED FROM DEFAULT 6699 TO 16699

the uploads working indicate that inbound TCP is working correctly, the lack of search results or a channel list indicates that UDP is not working correctly.

Generally speaking if you forwarded TCP correctly then setting up the UDP is the same process, the only likely error is perhaps overlooking a setting when selecting protocol for the forwarding? (ie leaving it to the default TCP instead of selecting UDP)

double check that the UDP port is forwarded correctly and set to UDP, if you continue to have problems then you can put WinMxWorld.com Help_E3D7EFD50D3D in to the filter bar in chat and hit join and someone should be able to help

are you talking about doublechecking UDP setup in WinMX? if so I did it already
