My solution to this rare error that is descibed as an "invalid request error" is to trim the file back 20k and then attempt a reconnection manually rather than an automatic one, browse the user and select the file you wish to do continue with and then select manualy download from the options presented when you restart an existing file.

That should fix the problem  :)

It is mostly an error with the source file itself. His file may have been corrupted. I jus read this in some other thread now.
Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)
Patch link :

Spread the word now :)

This error is a mystery of MX yet.  I have looked and looked for a good solid answer to this.  Its definatly a problem with handling a key exchange between machines but other then that and whos end its on is unknown.

Many times you can simply choose a different source and get the dl to work however, in the folks I have dealt with the problem it seems to be something they have a ongoing battle with and get more then the average user.

Odd, I got that error for the first time today when someone came into a room with only 3 files, didn't respond when greeted and then I browsed and tried to DL one of the files. The person left immeadiately, and I got error 314 too

be good

I've had the error now & then over time, I put it down to internet randomness, a dropped packet or something.
