Burning WMV file to a CD-R from hard-drive

I tried this using Nero and it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

You needed to add a post to this such as   none of the above
I for one would convert the file first with lets say   tmpgenc    and then I would burn it to cd with any number of other programmes that are out there      roxio   is one I can name off the top of my head
