Intrusive user scan buttons??
« on: June 13, 2006, 02:22:47 am »
I am bombarded by what I think are user scans.
I get extra buttons with what I think are user names, that frequently appear and disappear at the TOP of my UI.
What happens is that I cant target or click the files in my D/L and U/L lists.
I have to try to target and click filenames between the appearing and disappearing "user scan buttons" bucause they cause everything to shift up and down a few lines each time.

It damn annoying watching the whole screen bobing up and down.

If you click on the "user scan buttons" nothing happens.
I cant get rid of them.

Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

Thanks

indeed mxmonitor and leech hammer open the whois windows to get user information, they do hide the actual whois windows but unfortunately are not able to remove them from the list of open windows in winmx

btw, the problem of winmx jumping up and down as they open and close is quite easy to overcome, leave a single whois window open - then the others will just open next to it, and not cause it to keep jumping up and down (unless it gets down to the second row anyway) :-)
