Dissapearing files
« on: July 28, 2006, 12:23:01 am »
I extracted an ALBW file to a newly created directory... I started playing the file in that directory using Media player and it starde playing the tracks... I still had the directory open in file manager... It started with 12 entries... to my astonishment the file count reduced... one by one the entries dissapeared... still Mediaplayer was playing tracks I could not see... after about 10 minutes all file plus directory were gone... eventually mediaplayer also gave up....

Do I have a virus or worm?  please "somebody help me"!!!!

I have run a virus scan using bitdefender... also have firewalls on PC and router... I believe I am most properly protected from virus and worm attacks....
