Recently the site has been being hit by a lot of spammers, we've been generally keeping on top of most of them and getting them deleted and banned not too long after posting, but it has been annoying to say the least...
I've just enabled image verification now to stop any automated spammers, the forum will now ask you to enter a code either to register a new account or to post a guest.
Existing members can continue to post as usual without seeing any difference, new members will need to enter the code only when they sign up, and of course users can still post on here as guests, but will need to enter the code for every post.
If you find anything was broken when this was added of course let someone know and they will no doubt pester.. err... inform me that it needs to be fixed
of course you can either post a reply to this thread with the problem, or if the problem is that you can't post then either tell someone in the chat room or failing that email me (kingmacro@kingmacro.net) letting me know and I'll have a look at it (generally best to tell one of the other admins though so they can keep pestering me about it, more effective than merely telling me)
