hello,

i got a problem, i used winmx a lot, but since a computercrash is my winmx  acting strange.....

on secondary connection it works okay, on primary connection i can't search, browse, browse chatrooms, and can't download. people CAN upload from me.... who knows what the problem is....?

my situation:

Windows XP, firewall AVG, behind a router, but set as told on portforward.com (always worked well with those settings). have winmx all versions tried, all the same problem... peerguardian running and i use mxmonitor

go through the port forwarding again, importantly check that your computers IP Address has stayed the same since you initially configured it, and if it's changed then update the port forwarding to the new IP Address - although uploads working would indicate that isn't the problem, it is often a good idea to check that after a crash

Also check if you have allowed winmx in any firewalls that you might have....
If you happen to have a firewall other that the XP one, then disable the windows firewall.
