I only get

Busy (1 in que)
Busy (2 in que)
.
.
.
Busy (n in que)

when downloading

this happens when I use my local cable Atlantic Broadband (their ISP is Echo Labs) their touted badwidth is 5 Mbs down, 256 kbs up

When I use Covad at work, 1.5 Mbs down, 758 kbs up, I have no problem.

I already did everything thrown up here.

BTW, access to this web site seem is not very friendly to ABB, I get many page not found, specially when posting.

Busy means that there is a queue for that user and that your winmx is not set to auto-join queues that long, if it's doing it for a queue length of 1 then you probably have AEQ disabled (the default setting is 10) if you select the Auto Enter Queue button on the search results before downloading you can change that to a higher value to enter those queues

of course for users with slots free it should just start no matter what that is set to

If you want to test your file transfers pop in to the winmxworld chat room (WinMxWorld.com Help_3F1FAF500666) and if someone is around then they should be able to check it with you - never getting anything to download could indicate problems somewhere
